I am speaking like I knew what I am talking about but I just did my first AC job, reassembled the AC system in my 240 wagon, and luckily I had no leaks, pulled a vacuum for about an hour to remove moisture, then recharged it. it works beautifully. My '94 850 wagon was cooling marginally and the compressor was cycling on and off, which I found out happens when the system needs refrigerant. I hooked up my little connector/gauge I bought at AutoZone and it ended up eating a whole can of R134a before the pressure came to the right range. Now it is cooling great.
