T belt and tensioner at 105K. Flush the bevel gear oil at 30K intervals, the tranny at 50K intervals. There is a neat way to drill a drain in the bevel gear case posted at Volvospeed.com
Use Mobile 3309 tranny fluid for the tranny flush, see the dealer for bevel gear oil.
The spare in your car could be used in the East coast area from Boston to NYC. But Nebraska? It is too far between service stations. Get an AAA Plus card and let them fix it or flat bed tow it. I had a flat kit in the rear of my V70R: green slime stuff and an electric pump, of course I never needed it.
