Timing Belt Change Interval V70-XC70 1998

Hello,

I just bought a 98 V70 GLT with 156,000 miles on it. According to the manual, Volvo recommends changing the Timing Belt every 70,000 miles. The records on the car showed that the timing belt was last changed at about 81,000 miles. Based on a posting here regarding Timing Belt change interval for a 2000 V70, it should be about 105,000 miles. Does my 98 V70 have the same engine as a 2000 V70? Your help and recommendation is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
