VIEW    READ ONLY    PRINT   SAVE   A    A  steam coming from air vents and cooland gone from the bottle!! 850 posted by  someone claiming to be Jean on  Sat Nov 29 08:51 CST 2008 [RELATED] Hi I have a 1994 volvo 850 turbo and last night the tempeture when to about 85% of the gauge (still below the red zone) and then cool down again so this morning fill the reservor and drove to work about 6 miles and pop!! sound came from like under the dash or engine compartment and smelly steam come out of the air vents very bad, I check the cooland reservor and it was gone, i filled again but keeps going down, I don't see any leaking under the car. does anyone has an idea what this could be??? thanks guys!!
