Hi, looking for advice on how to repair/adjust the cable that runs into the center console of my 2002 S80. I was stranded at work today, unable to get the key out of my ignition switch and when started, unable to get it into drive. I took the driver-side panel to the center console off and by pushing the yellow button mechanism rearward, got the shift into drive. To get the key out after shutting the car off, I had to lift the cable out of the mounting bracket just ahead of the yellow button to allow the key to be removed.
Looking for advice on:
1- How to repair, adjust in order to remedy this problem and:
2- What is a repair manual that you recommend I buy for this car?
