The one before that lasted only 13 months (just after the warranty expired of course). Is there a known issue with Volvo branded wheel bearings? The car drives and steers fine so it doesn't appear to be a front-end problem. The first bearing failed (after 8 years) shortly after the struts were replaced which may or may not be a contributing factor. Any suggestions on what to check before I take it to my Volvo repair specialist (not a dealer)? Mark this post as an answer to my question<- Use this feature to mark quality replies to your post.
