Can someone help me with the following questions regarding an ignition switch change to my 1995 850 T5-R:
1) How do I get off the plastic housing around the ignition to get at the switch?
2)Which type of screws are they?
3)How many screws are there?
4)Where are the screws located?
Thanks

4 torx screws! Two are very far up and need at least 4.5 inche extension on a driver. Some of us have bought a very cheap torx screwdriver and broken off the plastic handle. Makes for a very long drill bit!

There are two TORX head screws under the steering column. I believe they're #15's. Once you get the plastic housing off the ignition switch comes apart very easily.
