last visit: Wed Nov 18 14:11 CST 2009[RELATED]This is the '95? Your converter is probably fine, but fouled from the results of the air leak. Give it awhile to recover before making any hasty decisions. When I got mine, the thermostat was broken, which I think was the cause of an O2 sensor code. Once the thermostat was fixed, the code eventually went away (he says hopefully, having not checked in awhile). Earlier models apparently did have some problems.

last visit: Thu Oct 22 21:10 CST 2009[RELATED]Thanks mbliss. Yes, it's a '95. After I cleared the 4-4-3, I went for a long drive and can feel the difference in the elbow repair. The check engine light has not returned. I know that these cars are self tuning and I will give the car a chance to adjust itself. Going on a long road trip, so this will be the true test if my repairs were successful.
