last visit: Fri Nov 20 18:47 CST 2009[RELATED]hi when you replaced the oil trap on the engine block did you clean out the holes inthe block that the oil trap goes into? If you didnt then the crankcase pressure will not leave into the oil trap and it will result in oil pushing out anywhere it can. when i did my pcv system I cleaned it out with a peice of hard wire then installed the oil trap [the black box at the bottom] good luck

Do a search on the forum - there's lots on here about it. You want to carefully ream it out with a pipe cleaner or something like that. They get pretty clogged up, and really serve to stop-up the whole PCV system.
