last visit: Tue Oct 20 06:44 CST 2009[RELATED]Hello, My thoughts/opinions are as follows. The original single system gave you >11 years because it heated up quickly. Didn't Volvo calculate back pressure into the "R spec'd" exhaust system? You have a great car with a unique paint job. Departing from factory original will adversely effect curb appeal. Will an aftermarket system sound "sweet" or make it sound like a high school kid's 1989 Honda? Will a dual system have two catylitic systems and 4 oxygen sensors -farewell 700 CAD guesstimate- or just branch off at the rear axle? Will cutting the rear valance result in a matching notch? I don't want to rain on your parade but with that car you're already the Grand Marshall. Kira PS We watched the original, narrated "The Incredible Journey"(1963)last night. Canada is cool. K

last visit: Tue Jul 7 15:59 CST 2009[RELATED]Thanks Guys,
I appreciate your opinion; the car is definitely unique because of its colour but as time passes I can see that it'll become a project car where I'll be replaces parts. I'd like to keep it original and know that adding the dual system will depart from that. Btw the CAD price with taxes comes to around 950.00. I'll ckeck out what Volvo charges for an OEM single and go from there.
Ontario boy!
