I'm replacing the waterpump as well. My question is, do I need to use some kind of gasket sealer on the gasket? If so, what do you recommend? Last weekend I repaired the spot welds on the pillar so my drivers door doesn't clunk clunk...I used the bolt method that someone here recommended. I couldn't get my fat Swedish fingers in the access hole good enough to reach, so my modified version was sheet metal screws with loctite, a lock and flat washer - works awesome, and I had everything so it really didn't cost me anything except my time.
