last visit: Sat Nov 21 15:16 CST 2009[RELATED]Just checked mine (sorry it took me all weekend). I see an "H" and "V" at either end of the holes. The detent gets adjusted accordingly. The adjustment is for the shock suppression dampers inside the unit. In my experience, it makes a big difference having these adjusted correctly.
YMMV, it may be worth noting that not all these Volvo cd changers are created equal. Mine's a 1994 build. The 2000 model in my mothers car is different...

last visit: Sat Nov 21 19:47 CST 2009[RELATED]Will,
Thanks. Mine was already set as I needed it to be. Now all I have to do is figure out how to bolt it up under the package shelf in the trunk with the door facing the front of the car. the CD player is wider than the bottom of the compartment is on the underside.
I will figure out some kind of Rube Goldberg arrangement!
Regards
Woody
