Use a pressure pump to bleed the brakes, don't try to do it the old way with the brake pedal. About 15-20 pounds of pressure.

Too messy, takes too long, and can empty the fluid reservior in short order. They also introduce air bubbles to the brake line. Don't even bother.
I bought a bleeder pump from IPD and it works great. The pump holds enough fluid to flush the entire system.
