V70 2006 posted by  someone claiming to be V70driver on  Sun Oct 5 09:12 CST 2008 [RELATED] Does anyone have experience, warnings, or recommendations on the recent-model V70 front wheel drive (not the brand new 2009 body, the previous one)? Any real expensive weak points? A 2006 light turbo Volvo-certified is for sale at the nearby dealer. My wife drove it and liked the visibility and the classic comfortable Volvo seats. It has 60,000 miles and they want $16,500. Unfortunately it has auto transmission. Thanks for advice. (P.S. I've looked for manual transmission V70s but they are rare in USA and totally non-existent around here.)
