Chris,

1. raise to vent position.
2. reach in and release the clip holding the headliner to the sunroof.
3. push the headliner flat and give it a good strong tug toward the rear.
Its held in front by a clip. The tug should release it. Do it evenly on both sides.
4.Slide the headliner back underneath the roof.
5.now you can go inside and remove the screws holding the sun roof in place and remove it.
