TRACS.... On or Off ??[S70/98] posted by Fred Bickford on

I am wondering if on perfect highway conditions(dry warm road), should I have TRACS turned off ?, I have it presently engaged[By Default I think] on E...

Would TRAC dis-engagement help on my mileage...

TRACS only works below 25 MPH on 98s. It uses the ABS to help
control wheel spin. Basically, this only works in snow, rain
and simular conditions (it is not meant to keep the wheels from
spinning if you floor it).

So, leave it on. It won't hurt milage. Also, on a 98 if you turn
it off it turns itself back on every time you start the car (so
you would always have to remember to turn it off).
