Why my 855 Turbo 1994 do not have "Check engine light". "It only have Service Light"

I'm check Vin It made in Belgium Model 1994.

I'm try to remove Instrument cluster and check it. No Check Engine sign in my Instrument cluster. Why?

I must check DTC Code often because no Check Engine light to warn me.

Jws,
Depending on the market, you have either "Check Engine" or the "Lambda" symbol. You probably have the latter....it will be shown in your manual. --
