Codes Checked - not in book...?[850/94] posted by Barry on

OK - check engine light came on in my 1994 855 Turbo. No problem. Pulled codes 443 and 435 for the fuel injection system.

443 - nowhere in my Haynes manual
435 - Heated O2 sensor response slow

So - anyone have a guess as to 443?

I have had 435 and 443 show up twice in the last month. Don't have a clue as to the one, but do I need to replace the heated O2 sensor?

Thanks,

The 443 is for Three way catalytic converter (TWC) efficiency low. Replace the HO2S and the 443 will more than likely go away. The longer you run with a bad HO2S the more chance you take at damaging the Catalytic Converter. --
