Yes Bill is right. Take the knobs off, the the plastic peice, and on mine I had to unscrew (and disconnect too) the foglight switch(I thats what is for, but can't figure out where the foglights are). Then take the metal bracket off. Taking the top off the steering column is easy (2 screws) and allows the intstrument cluster to slide out a lot easier. Once you have all his out, the rest is lots of fun. Get some really stubby screwdrivers and be careful not to pull any wires off. On my 85 (with mechanical speedo) the cable comes out but thats easy, just put it back on. Good Luck --
