I have to replace my AUX air valve (B30E) becuase it is cracked and leaking antifreeze. Someone told me to plug up and put on electric one casue this part is not easy to find. Anyone tried this? Does it work any better than the non-electric? Tx Mark

Yes, plug it up and put on a later one; the K-jet one through the middle of 1982 will work. The electric part isn't too important, just hook one side to ignition power and the other to ground.

They work from engine temperature as well as the internal heating element so attach it to the engine somewhere where it can warm up at roughly the same rate as the engine.
