/// You do not want to add a hose of air when you add leak detector. It is or was in a small can of freon. The lines to the compressor therefore must be flushed of air before you open the suction side valve.

I have had the most problems with the valves on top of the compressor and the compressor shaft. It is covered by the clutch and the movement of the belts blows air around it.

If the shaft seal is gone this would be the time to convert to R134. The replacement compressor (new) will have the correct seals in it. All you have to do is replace the other swap over components. Buy the Volvo kit instead of shopping for you own orings etc. I vaguely remember that the orings must be nitrle?

What is in Freeze 12? Is it combustible?
