Volvo offered two prepumps for 700 series. Original was short and identical to 200 series pump. Upgrade pump is larger and has higher pressure/capacity. Upgraded pump can also be installed in 200 series. Upgrade pump requires slight sender modification and a few extra parts on both cars. Either pump should work fine, however on turbo cars I would use the upgrade pump. --
