The later axles do not have drain plugs. A suction tube will not work because of access, so just remove the rear cover plate and let the oil drain. Scrape off the old gasket, clean and degrease the plate thoroughly, and apply a new chemical gasket appropriate for axle oil, such as one of the Permatex RTV silicones. Then reapply, let it set a few minutes, and torque it down. Refill with Mobil 1 or Valvoline synthetic in a 75-90 grade.
