1-few yr lifespans of Volvo antenna(antenna unit made in Japan) masts.Expensive at dealer or expensive freight at mail order.
Has anyone used the ubiquitious cheaper 5 -segments Harada ant mast,available at Wallmart/The plastic nylon cog/tail looks the same.

It was for a side job customer.
The only trick, besides getting it aligned vertically, is to salvage the 16mm crown nut from the OEM and fit it to the new Harada. Really, you can't tell the difference from OEM. Worked Great!
