Probably the hot water valve and not the blower. What happens is the programmer sends vacuum to the HWV to close it. If vacuum runs out, as it does on a turbo, then the valve opens and you get hot air. The ACC programmer, helpful as ever, does not want to blast you with this hot air so it shuts off the blower. It takes about 5 minutes to right its-self. In the summer I connect a vaccum line from the vacuum pump to the HWV and the blower always stays on. Two other common problems you may experience are (1) the fan relay fails but can be easily fixed (re-soldered) and (2) the air sensors give the wrong message to the programmer and so you get heat at all temperature selections except coldest. I am in the process of replacing my air sensors. I am experimenting with different thermistors. They are $2 a piece from an electronic shop compaired to $60 for the Volvo part. I will post a notice on the spec if I find a pair that work.
