You have a broken lumbar support---could be the usual plastic screw which pops or some other part. You have to undo some hog rings at the bottom of the top seat covering and lift up---kinda like pulling off a shirt. Have to remove the lumbar screw and plastic surrounding it. Once inside, you can spot the problem.
Volvo has he parts for fix.
