Re-aligning steering wheel after wheel alignment changes[S80/2000] posted by Bart Bobbitt on

Had our S80's wheel alignment checked, then adjusted a bit. Now the steering wheel is turned a bit left to go straight down the road. Local Volvo shop person says this can't be corrected. Surely, it can be.
If anybody knows what the scoop is, please post.
Thanks,

Is the local Volvo shop a dealer? If you have a new car S80 S40 S60 V70 V70XC, I wouldn't go anywhere except the dealer for a few years, for an alignment, they have the up to date numbers, and it's not whats in the standard Hunter machines. Changes have happen to the spec's and the lag to the outside shops can be as much as a year. If it was a dealer, shame on them.
