HOW DO YOU REPLACE FLASHER SWITCH?[700/88] posted by WOESTHAUS, WILLIAM on

Hello,

I have a very touchy flasher that goes off by itself every once in a while.
The switch is extremely touchy. No clear cut off-on click. You have to hold it on off for a moment. New one is around 75 bucks, I was thinking of a junkyard switch.

Is it difficult to get it out of the dash without tearing up the plastic?

I had to go out and turn it off at 4 a.m., it was flashing away!! Don't know what triggers it.
