Distributor tool[120-130/1967] posted by John Sargent on

There is reference in the distributor section of the 700/900 FAQ to an IPD distributor tool, which is noted as no longer available. The distributor tool is a fixture used to hold the cam driven distributor (from the B230F and B230FT engines) while driving the pin out. The pin is sometimes very hard to drive out, and the fixture is useful. The tool IPD marketed was not made by them, but by Chris Bogue of Mercy Motors, 246 SW 2nd, Canby, OR 97013. Telephone 503-263-2766. e-mail boguejr@integrityonline.com. Current price is $15 plus shipping. For those who have not seen earlier posts, the seal is Transcom #12X20X4TC or Honda #91205-KF0-003. The wire hold down is Volvo part number 1346794, the Hall effect wire connector is Volvo #1346793, the Hall effect pick up is Volvo #1346792. There is lots of information in the 700/900 FAQ on replacing these parts.
