Sometimes teh ABS Brake dash light stays on after I start my 740. When this happens there is now power to teh blower, radio, windows, etc. So is it a short? What I do is turn teh car off and restart it adn it usually goes off.

Your ignition switch is toast. Replace the electrical portion of the switch. It attaches to the lock with 2 screws. Fairly easy to do. Common failure. --
