All timing belts on 76-92 are the same on any 8 valve head 4 cyl built by Volvo (excludes the 4 cyl Renault engines used in 300 and 400 series).
All simialr ebgine line engines starting in 93 have a new round tooth profile belt. USe of an early flat tooth belt on late motor will work temporarily. Evnetually the flat tooth belt will wear the tooth edges in the round pulley notches and the belt will decide to leave or at least slip.
