Unless you have new separator plate gaskets for the valve body, and an exploded view of both sections showing the check ball locations AND the experience with removing, servicing and reinstalling a valve body....DON'T
The biggest problem with that unit is ONE nylon ball that wears and allows fluid around it, causing a hard 1-2 shift.
The balls don't get "gummed up" and the detergent in new fluid may clean some of the nooks and crannies that collect dark matter. So, if it ain't broken, don't fix it.
