Recall# 101 & Campaign[S70/1998] posted by Brian M. on

My wife brought her car in for L.O.F. and the dealer replaced the bulb & sockets for the front directionals with 'new design' covered by warranty. They also wrote down 'Campaign: STOP LUG' on the receipt as a warranty item. What is a STOP LUG?

The "stop lugs" are the small plastic stops for the headlight wiper blades. They are a different shape than the originals, and are designed to help prevent the headlight wipers from getting stuck under the stop lugs. When they get stuck and the headlight wipers are used, the motor can get damaged. If this recall was done properly, the wiper arms will also be adjusted to the proper stopping point. Recall 101A.
