Well the installation of the gauge is the same, same hook ups for power and lighting. All that is different is that you need the oil drain plug with the oil temp sender in it, it is a Volvo only part. Route the sender wire from the gaige thru the firewall on the drivers side and then down under the car to the oil drain plug which you have hopefully replaced with the OEM sender and hook it up.
Or install a remote oil filter kit that has one or more 1/2 in plugs for oil gauge sender installation on the filter mount, get a thread adapter (either metric to NPT or NPT to NPT) and install the sender there and route the wire accordingly...
If you have skivved one from an AUDI or Volks this is best way to go as it protects the sender from damage from under car obstacles and stupid oil change persons!
