There is a small tube that goes in the washer tank. It has a switch
that is activated by a magnet. The magnet floats around the outside of this tube. The problem is water gets in the tube and rusts/shorts out the
wires. You can disconnect these wires or replace the tube assy. I took
mine apart and replaced the switch with a new one from radio shack and
then sealed back with RTV. --
