This weekend I installed lower front supension arms w/new bushings on my 245. Repair manuals - as well as some discussions here - suggest installing the front A arm bolt and the nut for the large rear bushing w/o tightening to final torque. They say to do this after spring is loaded, or risk tearing up the new bushings. So my problem is getting a torque wrench into position inside the small opening in that rear bushing frame bracket to torque that 19mm nut to 40 ft-#s. I can't even fit a 19mm socket and a small breaker bar in there. I had even timed R&Ring a bad header pipe for extra clearance during this project!! Has anyone figured a way to do this?

Here's one that stumped me too until I saw the solution in the green manual.
The manual calls for removing two of the three bracket bolts (the one holding the rear c-arm bushing) and letting it swing down a bit. The come in with the torque wrench and tighten it up and finally remount the bracket to the underbody. Cool eh? Once again, saved by the real book.
