Hi,
I have a 1989 760 in excellent condition but u have ind naggin problem. The car has th oem sound system (2 part radio+cassete) and it has great bass but sometimes the front door speakers will shut off and later turn back on. I thought bad contact but this even happends when the engine is off and the car is still and i'm not it it. Please help I appreciate your time.

My 1990 760T had virtually the same problem. The solution was to pull out the amplifier (next to the steering column) and have a shop re-solder the internal connections. Sounds weird, but I've not had a problem since.
