A while ago, I bought one of those oil drain plugs with a magnet on the end from IPD. (I've never found a spec of metal on it.) At my last oil change, I pulled out the drain plug only to find that the magnet was gone! Since I couldn't find it in my drain tray, I can only assume that I got a magnet clunking around my oil pan. Is there any damage to be done by this loose magnet?
