Fixed headlamp washers[850/94] posted by Wayne on

Finally, finally, finally, after several unsuccessful attempts at locating the T-valve for the headlamp washers I found it.

The first thing was to remove the passenger side headlamp wiper arm and lower fascia piece. I then disconnected the washer line from the pump side and pulled the line through to the front of the car. The T-valve is hidden and is located to the right of the passenger side headlamp near the radiator. The washer line that goes to the driver side is clipped in place with some wires (again this also is hidden). You need to feel around and pry off the clip with a screwdriver and then the T-valve will come out. This T-valve is different than the one in the hood for the windshield washer. After the valve, the lines that go to the headlamps are smaller than the ones that go to the windshield washers. I removed the valve and drilled out the insides with a small bit and put it all back together. It now works fine. --
