I'll try this again. This is a reply from Rich K. to a problem that I encountered with my SC-816 headunit:

To reset the micro switch on the radio, that when stuck will cause the radio
to not accept CDs do the following; If you have the radio code and are
familiar with using it, take the radio out of the vehicle, if not you can do
this in the car with the radio in the car and connected. To do it in the car,
put the shifter in neutral and place a blanket or something over the shifter,
pull the radio out and rest the radio on top of the shifter. Looking at the
front of the radio, there are two black plastic rails on both sides of the
radio, you will be removing the rail on the right (looking at the radio).
Remove the two small philips screws holding the rail in place and then gently
snap the black rail off. Behind the black plastic rail you just took off are
a few small openings in the casing. Two holes back if you look up into the
radio, you are looking for a black, very small micro switch facing the rear of
the radio. The micro switch is on the edge of the circuit board close to the
opening. Twiddle the small tip sticking out (it's about 1/4 inch and the size
of a tooth pick) in and out several time. You could spray some silicon on a
swab and dab the end of the switch, don't use anything like grease that might
make the switch stick. Assemble in reverse order.

This worked beautifully and saved me a trip (1hour) to my dealership to have it fixed. Thanks Rich!!! Rick.
