780 Bertone[900/1992] posted by P. Jackson on

A friend of mine owns an '87 780 Bertone. Whenever he turns his directional on (either way) the light out light in the dash flashes with the turn signal. We checked all of the turn signal lights and they are fine. This is the only time this light goes on (unless a light is really burnt out). Any suggestions?

The turn signals are not checked by the bulb failure system but any ground connection fault front or rear will cause a back feed into the bulb failure unit and illuminate the Bulb failure lamp.
I would check in the rear since I believe the rear lamps are grounded at a common bolt somewhere on the inner valence panel below lamps.
