Would someone know if the 1983 ecu 503 and the 1983-84 ecu 510 are interchangable? Thanks

Yes.The 510 was the upgraded one made by Bosch to fix the bad ground problem in the 503. It also helped with a little cold running trouble. I keep a 510 on hand should the tricky 503 go, but it never has in 16 years. --
