How to aim headlights on '01 V70?[V70/2001] posted by Darell Dickey on

Anybody out there in Volvo Land know the trick to aiming the headlights on the '01 V70? I'm guessing there is some fancy Volvo tool to do it. The old-fashioned two-phillips-screws-with-springs don't seem to exist any more, and that just makes me sad. Of course the other thing that makes me sad is the lack of a shop manual for this car...which, in theory, would answer my question for me.

Thanks!

The headlight aim adjusters are behind the lamps on an axis perpendicular to ground. I think a Torx screw driver is needed.
BTW the fogs are adjustable also but it requires a splash panel be removed to get at the adjuster.
