Where is fuel relay located?[850/93] posted by Bo on

When driving frostbitten bumpy roads, the engine falls out some 5 seconds after the chock - and is very hard to start again.
I was suggested from this wonderfuld board to check the fuel relay -
but where is the famous relay?
My Chilton and Haynes are not much help here. No troubleshooting guides anymore - or how to check for wear.
Under the throttle a little switchbox is located - what is the purpuse of this - and where else would a bad connection typically occur on this 93 model ?
Thank you for all your good advise.
Great board - great people.

Fuel pump relay is in the back end of the fusebox. You have to remove the box top to get at it. It is labelled "103".
The fuel system relay for powering up everything else is clipped to the top of fan shroud.
The fuel or ignition control units may not be secure in their base connectors. You might try removing and re-installing these as the first effort at this problem.
