Volvo's new Injector seals look diff?[700/87] posted by Michael House on

Hi All,

I just picked up a set of fuel injector seal kits (donut, cap and spacer) for my 87 745Ti. The problem is that the grey spacer they came with looks and fits differently than the original. Is this supposed to be the case? Any sugggestions with the switch procedure would also be appreciated.
Thanks

I have done this, and I was told to keep the old spacers and use them. The new spacers are too thin. The mechanics at the dealer evn re-use the old ones, after all, they don't wear out.
