///Check the actual temp. There is an instrument voltage regulator on some mods. If it is bad the temp will read high. It is plugged on the back of the fuel/temp gauge. It has spaced contacts so it cannot be put back wrong. About $30 from Volvo. It can be blown by high voltage spikes from cranking. --
