I agree with everything said so far, let me add a little more. The "ooching" indicates that your cable is still driving the gears, however the end positions in memory have more than likely been lost. All of the motors under and in back of your seat have pots on them, the end positions on the pots has to be known by your seat computer, sometimes because of feet under the seat or other items floating around down there the connection for the pots can be jarred loose. Pushing the connectors back in and then running a seat calibration usually fixes this. Not being at the dealers you can continue "ooching" the seat forward to say about 11:00 or maybe even 10:00, then use the regular button to move it back, then forward until you have the range you want on your seat, then put the seat where you want it and put it into memory again and see if it works. --
