An aside., Is getting the O2 sensor out of the manifold difficult. Will it be hard to remove, break off, crack the manifold., or do they come out easily?

It was easy. They make a special slotted socket, or if you are cheap, just use an open end wrench. When intalling the new sensor, apply some anti-seize.
