I pulled into the driveway last week and my headlights went out. I pulled the fuse and replaced with a new one and still no headlights. The speedometer panel lights up, but only exterior parking lights. I have high beams when I toggle the lever, but no regular driving lights. This presents a problem in Michigan where it gets dark at 5:00pm. Is this a relay problem? If so, where could I pick up a relay?

Had the exact same thing happen to me. Took the headlight relay apart (you can bend the indents out with the proper size flat screwdriver) and found that the relay striker (the iron piece the coil moves) is held down by a plastic roller when in the high beam position and relaxes up to contacts for the low beams. I cleaned the hardened grease off the plastic roller and applied some RadioShack teflon grease (the non-wandering kind) and cycled the striker by hand a few times. Problem solved. Replaced the relay cover and indented as original. Worked for years and years.

Joe --

You realize you have two relays...........

The hi-low relay is under the hood, left side, clipped to a metal strut just behind the battery, p/s reservoir, etc.

The headlight on-off relay (the one that turns your lights off when you turn the key off) is on the inside firwall, driver's side, just above the felt kickpad. You could kick it with your foot. Like the hi-low relay, it's a metal-cased device. --
