Hi Bill, take it from an expert on the subject, if the insulation on the
wires is flaking, you need a new harness. The easy way to tell is to check
the insluation of the wires grounded to the intake manifold to a plate
which holds the fuel rail. Look under the intake manifold on the cyl
head by cyl #2 for a yellow wire. If the insulation is bad or gone, you
need a replacement. If the insulation does not flake off it's ok. Mine
was VERY bad inside the sheath where the injector wires come out. I will
be posting some pictures soon as an example. I posted a message earlier
about my exploits.
